46839, What all did you DECIDE to change when doing timing belt? I know some places RECOMMEND the timing belt and most people assume that's the main work of the service but they get you to beleive that and isn't always right. I did it a few months ago, and replaced my cam seals thinking that was my oil leak on the timing belt, but damned if i didnt get that lucky, seems its the front main i suppose, fun fun... And my rear main is leaking too i think cause my new cm stg 4 has been shuttering real bad at times and then grabbing back down like it was maby burning oil off the disk maby and catching back again... I plan to replace the t-belt again(cause oil and belts dont mix), the tensioner, and the front main seal, and the washer that seals the oil pressure relief spring on the oil pump. Don't know about the water pump, its got 42K miles on it, hate to get in there again soon. And the rear main seal all i gotta say is fxck, i really dont feel like dropping that tranny out of there an umpteenth time

They charged me $900 to change out my timing belt, cam seals, water pump, tensioner, and tensioner pulley. I have 120K on my car now and this is the second timing belt I've had changed.
