I have been looking for a cat-back system for a 95rs. which one is the best (Most HP gain) and who makes the slanted exhaust?

I don't know if it's the "best" but I love my greddy evo cat-back exhaust.

i got the greddy sport cat-back. sounds just like the evo but looks different.

The Greddy EVO was nice, I am kinda partial to my GS-T exhaust.

I don't think the GS-T flows enough once you start making good power.

What do you mean by "slanted" exhaust?

What kind of sound are you looking for? You can alway get a custom made and pick what components you want.

N1 all the way baby i love mine, sounds awsome and looks awsome, its the slant look but no in a ricer weld on muffler way, i got the real catback!hahah funny stroy in the beach i got pulled over cause they said exhaust was illegal, so i jacked up my car and pointed out the carb stamp on the piping and he just walked away and drove off......gotta love those stamps!

I got the Thermal R&D and that's by me the best exhaust. The tip is slanted cause of the bends it doesn't allow the muffler to be completely stright. Of course I speak for the single 5" tip of the 3" turbo catback. I have seen a few with dual-tip. I am not sure how the NT Thermal looks like. :thumbsup

She has decided that she wants the N1 system. I have 2 questions. 1) Where can I find it the cheapest? 2) I have only found it for the GS, GST, and the GSX, so will the cat back from the GS work with the RS without modification? We really appreciate your help!

of course, u wont notice any performace difference between any of the quality systems...Peoples opinions are usually just that, opinions so pick the one that u think would be the most attractive and best sounding...The performance really isnt all that different between the good systems.

checkout some pics an if possible listen to some people who've got 'em. most've the quality aftermarket ones are about the same. just look an sound a little diff. oh the n1 has a silencer, if that makes any difference. it quiets it down a lot if you need to.

I have been looking at the N1 and the EVO, but I like the look of the slant style. I have seen some Talons and Eclipse's with it and it looks bad ass, but I still don't know a place that makes it.
(By slanted I mean the muffler comes up from the ground and to the left but the tip is strait out the back)

The N1 comes up and to the left from under the car...One of these days ill get a digital camera.

^^^Thats what my old 91 tsi looked like,the guy at the muffler shop said that was the only way he could put it on.I have'nt seen one on a 2G either.

thats kinda what my N1 looks like cept it comes out the other side and isnt angled that much from side to side. Ill get a picture one of these days

lots of places sell apexi n1.. i suggest RRE..reliable and helpful..and there prices aren't bad.. if this dude i bought an n1 from screws me and if i get my money back i'm buying it from RRE oh yeah.

I have the N1 and love it It has the slant you are looking for I think. I got mine from Nopi.com for like $530 shipped.

I'm going to agree with Jasvb TS2K2, the Thermal 3" is the way to go if you're turbo. It sounds amazing and provides awesome spool. The only downside is that it's pretty damn expensive. Buy hey, you get what you pay for right? :thumbsup

So would there be much of a difference b/w the greddy and apexi systems vs. a shop that would custom make one(other then the $300 difference in price tags?

I have the 5zigen fireball axle back, it points up and to the left. Not a huge muffler and has a really deep tone. E-mail me if you need a pic unless someone wants to upload it.
