What diagram did you use to install the crane ignition. None of them seem like they would apply to us. Also do I need the tach adapter to run it on our cars? I have heard that we don't, but the directions say something about the fuel needs not being correctly calculated due to the tach signal not being correct, or something to that effect. Also if you mounted it in the cockpit of the car, did you have to drill a new hole in the firewall for the wires? Or is there one already there that will work. I need some help here guy's.

I am running an msd ignition so i dont know about the diagrams, but i do know that you need the tach adapter, i went through this with my ignition install. If you dont use it the car will start and run normally for a few min but then just die. As for the wires there is a grommet on the passenger's side of the fire wall about halfway down that will work just fine,it come out up behind the glove box under the carpet.
Hope this helps.

If you are using the "older" Crane you need the tack adapters. If you have the new ones (the 600+ red, blue, silver ones) <---Crane digital CD ignition you don't need it.
Crane and MSD are different.

Yes you need to tach adapter teh version of teh install manual depends on which amp you have... they've made lsight variations in teh wiring.
Look in the intro is say thing about wiring up for Eclipse and for Neon, go to the Figure listed for Neon and use that.

I didn't need any tach adapters when I installed mine. Though I do get 2 cel codes from it. I have the HI6-DI2.

i have the newer crane ignition, i have the NEW one tach adapter. you may not need it, but you will get a cel etc etc. but you need it to not have a cel and for your engine 'within' to run right. also i used figure 4 "Generic HI-6Di2 hookup to four tower coil pack." thats what we use cool Michael 99gs HRC Stage 2 @12psi :D Stage 3 process begins gathering parts for rebuild

If memory serves, depending on the manual you have it's either Figure 4 or Figure 5. You can get the manual from http://www.cranecams.com in .pdf format if you don't have one.

Cool! Thank's guy's!!! I will follow this advice. The damn coils in the instructions did not look a damn bit like mine, and it was saying something about cutting off a capisator or something and wireing thinds up inside the coil. As far as I know though our coil pack is sealed. I know we have to cut the harness to the coil , but do we have to cut anything inside the coil or anything like that? And for the tach adapter, we can run without it but will get a CEL correct?

The only wirs you need to cut are the ones leading into the coil pack, don't touch the pack itself.
People have run with out it, you will get CEL, and I'd recommend getting teh adpater(s)
