I do it differently - just to be safe. I thread them in with the spark plug holder, twist until they're grounded, and give them 1/8 turn. Rather be safe then strip the head, IMO. plus I use hi-temp antiseize just in case

I use anti-seize and torque to 20 ft-lbs.
