well it didnt give any engine codes. plus theres a difference between the 95 and early 96s
howell has the same one. my car is a 96 with a build date of 9/95. im assuming this is the early style plug on the coil pack. (it looks just like the one on the eclipse in the chiltons manual

Actually I don't know if it will. Don't hold me to this, but mid 96 and up cars use a different coil than 95 and the first part of 96. There was an early post about this. Take your factory coil off, and look at the terminals. 3 round terminals means you need to use the coil with part #8229, and if you have 3 flat terminals you use part #8239. I'm pretty sure this is correct, but I do know there was difference from the mid 96 production cars and up. Hope this helps.

yes, modern performance is good and reputable. Check neons.org if you need more references. I actually have a friend who ordered the wrong one (he needs the flat, but received the round) and hasn't even opened it. It is for sale. Don't know how much. Email me if you want more details. mkerley@yahoo.com

We have pictures of the difference on the two coil packs on our website and break them down per year difference, etc.
We keep them in stock, have the same pricing if not better than summit or those other places. Give us a call. We would be happy to help you with your 2gnt parts needs..
