i have an auto, hrc stage I. gs, i believe 12 gal tank, i usualy get between 200 and 220 miles per tank. which doesn't seem very good to me, and the mitsu people won't look at it.

im pretty sure we have a 16 gal tank...16.9 is what the manual on my 96 says anyways. not sure about the other tho

The tank on my 97 GS is 16.9. It does sound like you're getting bad gas mileage, however, the turbo cams, 18's, and such don't help it.

before mods....i could easily get 350 maybe even 400....but after mods i can probably squeeze about 300 out of a tank.

Jesus, I've never put 16 gallons in my car....hell I've never put more than 11 in my car and that's with the fuel light on...is there something wrong with my sending unit or something?

Its the auto thats killing you. Most of these guys that claim 400 miles to the tank are manual. I rarely get much more than 300 a tank. In comparison your mods compared to my mods the gas mileage your getting sounds about right.

Yeah me too, I run HRC stage 2...Lately I have gotten about 260 but that's cause I keep flossing my HKS SSBOV :D

Got any CEL's? I had the same gas milage you are getting and for me it was the O2 sensor.

the tank may have 16.9 gal of inner volume, but since my light always goes red around 12-13 gal, I usually put in gas and then it only takes 13 gal max.

I have a manual, best ever gotten was 450 to the tank (meaning around 13 gal). Usually I get 360-380 on less than 13 gal.

the gas light is supposed to come on when their is 2gallons left. mine will usually come on for a little while, turn off for about 5-10 miles and come back on.

I average between 26-28 mpg. Oh yeah, I drive stick. I had 380 miles and the low fuel light came on on me 7 times. }( I filled up and I was able to put exactly 14 gallons. Which means I had at least 2.9 gallons left. So I could have prolly made another 40-50 miles b4 I run out.

Holy crap! There's an extra 2.9 gallons worth of gas i had no idea about. Learn something everyday.

I get 160-200 to the tank :-) But I don't fxck around when I drive :thumbsup

When you think about it I generally put 12 gallons of gas in every time now on the 12 gallons I get about 300 thats still 25mpg in the city which isnt bad on the interstate I get about 400 which comes out to about 33mpg. Now say you put 15 gallons in the car everytime and you go 450 that comes out to 30 mpg. So I mean you really have to look at how much gas your putting in and then how many miles you get out of the gas you put in. The point being everyone fills up at different points. So what one person gets may not be accurate to what you get. I fill up generally before or right after the light comes on. If I drove with it on I could prolly squeeze another 50 miles out of it.

Now that I think about it, gas milage not that important to me...I drive around with a 1/2 to a 1/4 tank of gas, and during the season that's 3 gallons of 105 and 2 of 93 octane. Don't need that extra dead weight...}(
