46127, RE: real dumb question Posted by 96eclipse2nr, Mar-06-03 01:39 PM roughly the MAP that is on the 420a motors is at the end of the intake manifold and detects the air pressure inside hence Manifold Absolute Pressure. the MAF sensor detects the ammount of air fowing through the air intake tube and is mounted inside the tube. the 4g63 turbo, and 2.4l 4g64 (spyder) use maf, 420a uses map. | |
