what kinda car do you have? the only 2gnt with a MAF sensor is the 2.4l spyder. if you don't have a spyder you use a MAP sensor.

roughly the MAP that is on the 420a motors is at the end of the intake manifold and detects the air pressure inside hence Manifold Absolute Pressure. the MAF sensor detects the ammount of air fowing through the air intake tube and is mounted inside the tube. the 4g63 turbo, and 2.4l 4g64 (spyder) use maf, 420a uses map.

i prefer cars with a MAP sensor. Although you can't put a MAF sensor on a car with a MAP sensor. If your car has a MAP sensor it will always have a MAP sensor.
