45414, I AM STILL CONFUSED ABOUT INJECTOR SET-UP!!!!!!! Please help Posted by tim97rs, Feb-26-03 03:03 PM
Okay, i have done the searches, i have read corbins write-up (im not good with math), and i have asked around. NOW...
I am still unclear as to what size injectors to use with my walbro pump (255lph, i think) and which disck to use on the vortech FMU. (sfmu to much $ right now)
i am goingto run stock internals with no more than 7-9 psi boost! maybe a bit lower if thats deemed to risky for stock initernals.
So there it is, please help me!!!!!!!!
Are Accell 30lbs, 310cc injectors to big? If they are okay, is $100.00 for 4 new ones a good price?
What about RC engineering, 370cc?
Again please help!!! thanks

what i have read so far, i am also planing on do this, is that you can use anysize injectors you want. All you have to be concerned about is the software end of the EIC i am sure you can calibrate it to what size injectors you are runnin and then go from there. before you do anything, like installin the EIC i would suggest you play with the software, if you understand what you are doin that is half the battle! later "Z"

You arent talking about running the 8 injector setup right? If you aren't then keep reading.
You should stay with the stock injectors if you dont buy the sfmu since the fmu is not adjustable. Your idle fuel pressure will be too high to run larger injectors causing you to run too rich. My advise to you is to wait to add the injectors until you can get the sfmu to go with it. Once you have that regulator, then you will be happy with the 30 lb injectors. B.T.W. $100 is a pretty good price for 4 new accel high impedance 30 lb injectors.
