I got this cylinder misfire code a couple days ago so I changed the plugs and wires, after a couple of days and CEL 43 comes back up. I wonder what some of you guys did to fix this problem. I don't want to blow up the engine again because of this problem.

i got it. i think it may be the coil pack

it is the coil. if its not the plug/wires then its the coils. i got the code but i just replaced my plugs and it fixed. so id replace the coil man..not but like $20

what is the code number? like PXXXX. i had P0352 - ignition coil #2 primary circuit. i thought i t might be a lose connection from my msd ignition so i went ahead and remounted it into the engine bay like you're supposed to. well still had a cel. so i made sure all my plugs were on my coil pack good and made sure they were on my spark plugs good also. well after that, no more rough starts or cel. just an idea. also, i have a spare coil pack off a 95 eclipse with the harness for it also with plenty of length on the wires if you do need a coil pack. let me know.

i have the dis-2 from msd with the tach adapter. if you don't have the tach adapter, then the firing will not be firing right. here's the link from what i know. pn 6211

well our stock coil pack seems to like to crap out. I can feel mine getting worse and worse. just get the one from msd, they just came out w/ the coil for 97+ cars. cheaper than the stock coil also.

can you point me in the right direction? I went to autozone and they want 87 for the stock replacement. Of couse Shuwa is willing to let his go for 20, but since my car breaks things, I like to replace it with an upgrade.
