45152, Found Better/Quieter Fuel Pump than Whinebro or HRC Inline Posted by Avenger, Feb-23-03 02:33 PM
I installed my Supra TT pump today. It's a great intank upgrade and outflows both the inline pump that comes with the HRC kit and the Walbro. At 45 PSI it flowed 285 liters per hour (LPH) which is bounds greater than either of those pumps. Some of the perks are that it requires very little modification to mount to the stock hanger for the fuel pump and it's only a hair louder. The bad ... it draws a lot of amps. 19.6amps to be exact. I highly doubt I will EVER run out of pump now. And it's pretty cheap through Concilli Toyota for abour $185ish.

Wow, so you're saying we don't need the HRC inline if we have that one?

The only question is:
How much fuel does it flow at 110 psi?
It may be very adequate at 45 psi, but may fall short at higher pressures. Anyone running high fuel pressures (100+ psi), should consider that.

I know that 110 PSI is what the HRC kit calls for, but can we all listen to ourselves? 110 PSI... that is rediculous pressure. It is amazing that the fuel rail doesn't blow itself off at that pressure! I think that you hit the nail on the head, Corbin, when you went for the EIC... -=B-=

I personally think everyone that is turbo should go with 30 lb injectors minumum for safety's sake.
