hey i just got a B&M short shifter. i'm waiting to put it in, but i'm wondering what the difference is between 50% and 35% reduction. is it the height? what exactly does it do? and which do you guys recommend?

It is not the height it just changes these pivot points on bar. trust me you want the 50%. You'll notice the the 35% but thern you will want more(as all enthusiasts do). On top of that the B&M is shorter than stock but that contributes to the stick throw of the 35% and 50%, so just the 50%. I would also say cut out about a 1/2 inch from the B&M for an even shorter throw. I removed an inch on mine.

I'm runnin the 50% and about 2" cut off the top. The throw is pretty short at the stock B&M height, but It gets in the way of seein the stereo.....can't have that now can we.
