44227, Who here has an aftermarket flywheel??? Posted by BuckNutty, Feb-12-03 11:48 AM
I was looking at the SPEC/Fidanza Stage 3 Modular Clutch Kit. Is that a good clutch or should i just get the flywheel and clutch seperate? I am gonna aim for like 350 whp and a 100 shot of laffy gas. So would this be a good clutch/flywheel setup? If not...input por favor!!! n whatnot!

Hey, I use the SPEC stage 3. Grips like a mother. :o It's a very comfortable clutch, not hard at all. Maybe too soft for some. My only complaint is the chatter. I am getting a Fidanza flywheel soon with LSD. But I don't run anywhere near 350whp. Wish you the best.

I have the ClutchMasters flywheel. It is way lighter than the '95 neon flywheel. How do I like it? I dont know yet, only 150 miles on it and the clutch isnt broke-in yet. Oh, and the tranny is broken right now.

So how much hp you have with a stage IV trim??? I am gonna be doing the 2.4 swap mos definately, but am not sure if I am gonna go BuckNutty on the turbo setup or go moderate. I may shoot for a nutty 500 whp, but what kind of setup would i need for that???? May as well do it now while i am in there.

I have the SPEC stage 3 and the Fidanza. I am very happy with both and have about 5500 miles on that combo. I havent started pushing as much boost as I want to on it yet, but is coming very very soon. I will say that the SPEC clutch does grip very well. Mine chattered a lot when I first got it and was in the break in process. Now that it's broken in, it almost never chatters. With the fidanza, you will notice how quickly your car will rev up and de-rev in comparison to the stock setup.
