I have a vacuum leak somewhere around the intake manifold and i have no clue where it is. i have narrowed it done to the throttle body gasket, the fuel injector o-rings or a vacuum line somewhere. i don't think it's the intake manifold gaskets cause i used rtv sealant around the passages to make sure i got a good seal. the reason i believe it's a vacuum leak is because i can hear it if i listen really good and my car seems to sit there and wants to speed up to 30 by itself. I can let my foot of the gas at 30 and it keeps going. i don't believe it's the tps cause i just replaced that. any help would be great. TIA

do you have your egr blocked off. if so make sure its sealed good. also RTV on the intake manifold is no good. it is not resistant to gasoline. over time the gas will eat through any RTV used to seal the intake manifold.

well i have a new egr valve gasket. i didn't block it off cause i didn't think it would be a good idea (yeah it would help but i'm not planning on it yet). well i used rtv sealant along the metal just as an extra seal along with the intake manifold gasket. it helped keep it in place when i was putting it back together. but in any case, it is leaking in that area more than likely cause that's where it sounds like the leak is coming from. thanks for the help. preciate it

IAC motor o-ring, or the motor might actually be out of place (needs to be reset by the dealerships DRB3 tool) is your idle high, if not forget what I said

heheheh well it will sit there and rev up to about 3k then drop to 1 1/2 for a little then down to 1 and sit there and fluxuate up and down. pretty weird. what's the IAC? i know there was an o-ring around the Crank Angle Sensor but that's the only one i can think of. but i can definately hear a hissss sound around the intake manifold. i hate friggin vacuum leaks.

Idle Air Controller. Its the "sensor" in the bottom of your TB. Its actually a little motorized plunger - that creates a controlled vacuum leak to achieve the proper idle.

i just changed that part when i did the TPS. brand new o-ring and sensor. was thinking it was my map sensor but the hiss sound isn't coming from there. oh well. i'll let you guys know what i find out.

Spray some carb cleaner around when it hits the leak there will be a change in the idle
