To anyone who has gutted their cat, did it set off the check-engine light? Also, are their any "dummy" O2 sensors for our cars, cause I want to cut my cat off (or gut it) and not set off any codes in my car. Also, does anyone have a high-flow cat, I've heard they don't work that well (no power), but if you have one and noticed a difference tell me.

I don't have a gutted Cat but I do have a Test pipe and no it didn't set any CEL off. If it does on your car for some strange reason you can go to your local radio shack, buy a 1/4 watt 1 megaohm resistor, and place it in line with the black wire. This will eliminate the light. However I and all of my local eclipse friends have never gotten the light.

I got the light and fixed it with the resistor.
Works really well.
