I need to know how much it is to replace the clutch and transmission, please.

labor could be about 500 bucks at least. Do it yourself, I'll walk you through it. And I'm pretty sure some other guys here can walk you through it too.

I need to know that too...but I also need to know how much a new transmission is going to be, as well as a new clutch.

This might be off track but why do you need to replace both?

Anyways depending on what you want, Ive seen used tranny's for like 500. It depends on condition. But, 500 is a good average for a used one I would guess. Now when it comes to clutchs it also depends on what you want. You can go to autozone, or advanced auto (Which ever one you have in your area.) and buy one for like 250.... My friend did this and it comes with a lifetime replacement warrenty which you well need because it well not last but the second one they sent him was a different clutch and was a little bit better. or you can go get a nice one for around 700. Anywhere in between there I would say. Oh and the work do it yourself. Its not that hard just takes time and the tools but if you have both it well save you a lot.

Well I feel somethign to do with either one ... I think one of them might be going. I am also just thinking about turbo stuff... (just thinking...or dreaming somewhat :))
ANd I think that with this old tranny and clutch...going turbo would break one or the other...or both.

Well theres always exceptions but our transmissions can take quite a beating and keep going pretty well... I would replace your clutch if you are dreaming of turbo someday, but the transmission you have should be able to take what ever turbo you put into it. So I would recommend not changing the transmission now if you arent for sure.

if your looking for a new clutch i have a group buy going on all my clutches they come witha warranty also...

your tranny should hold up to turbo unless your diff pin slides out but that could be any tranny....

id recomend the stage 2 or 2.5 if your wanting to go turbo later but not right now, they have good grip and still slip like a stock organic clutch...
