i know one of the guys here has a filter slapped directly on his TB... is that safe? will it give more power than a regular shortram?

can be done, but i think it would totally negate any cold air from making it to the engine

interesting idea...i guess if you cut a hole in the hood and made an air scoop, that would make it work better and not get the hot air of the engine bay.
