Hi, im new with the DSM and heard about some FINAL DRIVE GEAR MOD. I'm not exactly sure what it does or how you do it but I know its a money-saver. Can anyone can give me some information about this mod? Thanks!

P.S. I own a 95 Eclipse GS a/t

hope that link works for you. the final drive mod adds more low end power. McGyvr and everyone else who's done it say it's definitely a good mod. Your speedometer will be off by 5-6 miles and you MPG will drop slightly. I 'll be doing this mod pretty soon too. Tell me how you like it.

I'm also located in S.F. I was wondering if you were going to attempt this one on your own or going to a shop. I'm lacking some of the tools.... hee hee :+
