CAMS!! haha just like everyone else I have been looking at getting some cams. I would like the nitrous grind, I see the reactions that people are having. Looks pretty good.... Anyway the reason I am posting is to see what the installation is like. Should I take them to the shop, is it a pretty easy process. Any input would be great...

I had my installed at the shop, dont foget about getting a set of valve springs with them if u go cams. The shop I went to charged me for 10 hrs worth of labor. Kinda pricey but it was worth cuz with my setup they exceeded all the expectations i had of them.

they charged you 10hrs???? holy hell....i had mine done at a shop and it was 4.5hrs....10hrs seems to be a bit excessive for cams....but to answer your question, yea it could be done yourself but its gonna be one of those cussing jobs....just a lot of steps to it..not exactly very "easy" either...but if you have some knowledge, a fair amount of tools and someplace to do it...yeas it could be done..

Damn I got owned with the time there huh, well my car runs great so I can't complain too much. Wouldn't mind havin some loot back for the extra 5.5 hrs I paid....
