Alright, well i have recently come into some money....finally getting my settlement from workmans comp, only took 3 years :rolleyes ...anways my mods are in my sig, the stage 2 cams and cam gears are going on next week..now...since walbro crapped out on the fuel pump, where should i look for another one? also i'm sure aftermarket electronics will help, but which ones? also would it be worth my time just to wait for the AF/X ecu for a 99 instead of getting an AFC?

I just modified a 4g63 FWD walbro 255lphHP to fit my RS last night. Chopped 2cm off the brass fuel plate nipple. Email me for pics. I'll let you know if I blow up ;)

I would get the S-AFC and then wait for an AFX ECU. So you can adjust fuel to YOUR car.

97 Eclipse RS (in winter slumber for H.G. repair & other projects)
Injen CAI, 55mm TB, P&P Intake, Crower Stage 2 Cams, Hooker Header, GS-T Muffler, AFX UDP, Crane Ign Amp, S-AFC

did u have a stock fuel pump or a walbro? i guess i'm not understanding well.. but i just recently (bout 2-3 months ago) got a high flow feul pump from walbro thru a dealer here in CO. and it fits just like the stock pump..even used the same connector.. if you havnt found a pump yet and dont wnana modify anything let me know.. i'll see if this company can still get you that pump.. if that is what your looking for.

what happened was that I ordered the walbro from howell in august, things progressed and after 2 months i called them, they said it was on back-order but that walbro was making the pumps and they should be in "soon"....well 2 more months went by and i called again....got the answer "we never charged you becuase they don't make the pump for your car" umm ok...anyways thats the story...if you got someone who still has them let me know...i want to get an aftermarket pump on soon....
