i have bth the b&m and the symborski shifter kit in my car. the B&M shifter makes things a little stiff, but when you get used to it it is alllll goooood the symborski kit is worth the money. it ain't that expensive ant it does help the shifter feel alot more solid, the only thing is that you can hear the shifter sound louder cause there are no sound deadening rubber bushings left. i guess that could be good and bad. Well overall after i got used to all of the stuff i am not going to take it out. it tightens up your shifting and it feels oh so good!
hehe well hope i helped

...and it makes a world of difference. My shifter sits and vibrates at idle but I like it a lot and the shifting is much more precise and tight. The shifter also improves acuracy and shortens your shift throws

just watch it if you shorten your own. it's hollow in the middle, and if you grind off too much on the sides, you'll have to fill it with JBweld and then in a few months have it break in half while your racing a sohc neon and have to hear about it for months afterwords.

I wouldn't know....I'm just saying....that's what "could" happen.
