41388, Energy Suspension Engine mounts Posted by RyaN95i4, Jan-11-03 09:31 AM
Just got them in the mail, didnt realize they were for the manual transmission only. :/
i thought i read on ASOG that the front mount is the same regardless of which tranny, just the rear mount is different - is that true?
does energy make a poly engine mount kit for the atx?
edit--just to be sure, anyone know of hand what the correct part # is for us for the energu mounts, want to be sure i didnt get a 4g63 set

so the fwd 4g63 guys use the same mounts? i only saw a listing for 95-99 fwd and 95-99 awd, no turbo/non-turbo listing
im also assuming by that, that there are no atx kits.
so what are the atx guys doing for the rear mount?
edit-- lookin @ that site again, it lists "5.1103 (113)" what is the 113 in paranthesis mean?

i would assume that the 5.1103 (113) would be 5.1103, 5.1113

I can't remember the part number for mine, but it WAS for a 5-speed. It fitted with no probs.

Mine said MT too in a sticker on the back. I had my friend who installed them for me, works at a local Dodge dealer, when I had my power steering serviced. He said the back was a little tough to get to, but it did fit. Again, that's what he told me. I'm not sure if they changed the design of the mounts recently or whatever, I got mine from overboost.com by the way. Oh yeah, I'm AT too!!!!

wtf...i have part # 5.1103R, says "Application include: 1995-99 eclipse, spyder, talon. This set fits torque mount positions only and manual transmissions only."
maybe the 113 is the 4g63 inserts?

remember, just cause the mount is different, does not mean that the actual rubber part where you are putting the insert is different. it could just be that the brakets are different the where each side of the mount connects to eachother (the rubber part) could be exactly the same, and probably is.
