I bought an extra t.b. off a guy here and it came w/the sensors, and i ported it out myself but i also took the sensors to get all the shavings out of them and i was wondering if because i took them out and put em back in, if i'll have problems. Like for the tps, will it be screwed up now and the iac? The problem is also i allready have a cel because my exhaust recirculation canister thingy is screwed up so i won't know if i get a new code thrown from the t.b. So will i have allready messed it up by taking the sensors off and wiping around?

I have two views on your question. The guys here on 2gnt will tell you that you need to take your car to the dealer and have them zap the ecu to reset the IAC since you removed it. I myself have removed the iac, didnt move any of the peices and put it back in without any problems concerning the idle. Im not sure about the TPS, but im sure the ECU will reset itself once you start the car. So in my opinion you will be fine. If you have a crappy idle after the install, take your car to Satan and have them zap the ecu, should cost about 25 bucks..or so they say. Gook luck

First and what is logical is that if you are already throwing a code you can still get other codes. Just do the key trick thing and see if any new codes have popped up after you run your car. If you dont know go here: http://www.2gnt.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=8 it well explain everything that you need to know.... But just to give my thoughts on the matter... The TPS when put in has to be twisted in the right direction to be correct... I forget if its clockwise or counter clockwise, If you just remember how you took it out you'll be fine.... Your iac also well be fine as long as it wasnt damaged and you dint play with it... I wouldnt worry that much if I was you.

Did you leave your sensors in while you ported your TB? If so, that's a big nono! :nono I hope you took them out beforehand and now you want to put them back in. If that's the case then it should be just fine. You won't know until you try!

i didn't take them out while porting, i know i should have but i didn't. I took them out prior and i remember when i put the tps in i remember it didn't go in straight, only left or right a little and then it pushed strait, which way do i turn, counter clock wise or clock wise? The mass air flow sensor w/the slide on it, well, i sorta played w/ it but not roughly, but i dunno, i feel like a dumb ass, how will i know wheni hook it up if something's wrong?

I think it well only go in one way. I just can't remember if its clock wise or counter. If you put it in and then twisted and the screw holes match up then you'll be fine. Dont worry... and dont feel like a dumbass...shit happens. I once spent over 150 dollars on sensors that ended up only being a broken pcv hose. It happens. Anyways put it all back together turn your car on let it run and listen to her and see how it sounds. If you feel that somthings wrong, or just incase, shut your car off and do the key trick as I told you about early and bring up any codes... that way you'll know what sensor (if any) is damaged. Your car well be fine running for a few minutes if one of the sensors is screwed up.

put it on, and turn it to the right. there should only be resistance for about 1/16's worth of an inch, then the screw holes line up.
