My syncros in my transmission are going out. Think thats the problem cuz second gear is hard to shift sometimes and when I speed shift it grinds alot. How much is that gonna cost?? Also my valve seats are bad I think becuz when my car is cold it smokes out of the exhaust and quits after it warms up and it is burning oil and theres dried up oil in my exhaust. How much would that be to fix and can I do it myself and if so is it hard???

fixing your synchros hmm well it would most likly be cheaper to fidn a neon tranny and swap the bell housing instead of 1500$ ormore to fix the synchros


if u have leaky valves do a leak down test anda compression test and you'll find out..
