Whats the highest hp 2.4 swap out there right now. Or highest numbers on the 2.4 in any car really. I am jus curious as to what i should be shooting for ;)

highest is phatridz at around 750hp,

the way they got there is somwhere around 11:1 compression 28-30psi of boost, 250shot of nitrius fully build block with everything u can imagine, aluminum flywheels gutted car, ran 9.07second quater on the bottle,


the other high number are around 4-500hp turbo and streetable,

the most recent i heard of was turbodave from neons.org usgin anold 2.2/2.5 mopar managment setup with distributor he hit about 400hp with like 16psi on 8.1:1 pistons
stock head i think and stock everything else

I jus wanna see what the engine is capable of, and what the setups were. Mostly so i can compare and contrast what setup i am thinking about and what is proven.

well if your going to go turbo and do 2.4 300hp is cake to get, it just depends if u upgrade the cams and how much boost what bolt ons etc, its 22% more displacment and power take teh 2.0 with 5 psi now add 22% and thats what your going to get close to witha 2.4
