40836, A few more ??'s about hesitation

Ok, im slowly figuring things out with my car. I just changed the fuel filter and spark plugs. This has taken most of the hesitation away. Most of the hesitation is in the 1000 to 4000rpm range and only happens when i first start the car and after its been driven over 30 minutes.

Now, the list of parts replaced is as follows so far...plugs, wires, coil pack, iac motor, front 02 sensor, head gasket, front main seal, vavle job, spark plug gasket, valve cover gasket.

Now the car has a rough idle, it sounds like i have cams installed, but i dont. This happened after i took the car in to have the front main seal and cam seals installed. Do you think the shop messed up my timing?

The hesitation feels like a slight miss, but over time it just gets worse and worse the farther i drive. Does anyone have a clue as to what it could be?

Well not to scare you at all, because...well..i dont want to. But, w hen i paid some people to do my timing belt/head gasket last year when my car was stock...i got it back and it ran like absolute shit..and then..about 3 weeks later my timing belt tensioner broke and shit hit the fan...that's why i have all this cool shit now :). Did they re-use the head gasket bolts...err..forget a vacuum line. its probably something that has to do with your timing belt. One thing that really has to take place is the replacement of the tensioners and pulleys associated with the timing belt. That's what fucked me.

I did the head gasket replacement myself. The timing was perfectly fine before i took it into the shop to have the front main seal and cam seals installed. I just didnt have the extra time to break it down and do it myself. After getting the car back, it had the lumpy idle, sounding like cams.

well they had to take the timing belt off if they replaced the front main oil seal...
