aside from a tranny conversion what have you guys done to make a NT Auto fast?? I need some suggestions before i start putting too much money into it. Ideally i would just get a new car but i got the car 100% paid off by my parents and i figure i'll roll with it for now and fix it up somewhat...

do a search for "Final drive mod" thats quite popular with auto 2gnts, anything that you can do to a 5spd performace wise, you can do to an auto. go to www.hahnracecraft.com or www.turbogs.com both places sell fully upgradable turbosystems that are reliable, check in the things weve seen before section if you have any turbo questions. you can also look into a high stall torque converter which will allow you to get a better launch on the holeshot, hope all that helps.

Well, for transmission mods, I would look into the following...

Final Drive mod
Transgo shift kit
replace all clutch packs with something a bit better
torque converter
A/T cooler
5 speed swap

Just kidding about the last one... hehe...
