ok i am doing the jeep tb conversion can i use the neon tb or does it have to be the eclipse/talon. i own a talon

the only differece i see it the throttle cable linkage

you need to use your clips/talon one cause the linkage on the neon one looks alot like the one on the jeep tb. you can leave the jeep IAC on, it will plug right in its just at a differnt angle.

the neon engine is turned 180 degrees compared to an eclipse/talon...
hence, the t/b wont work... (basically the throttle cable will become an issue, and the mounting of it)...

um ok yes the head is 180 degrees off the but intake flows the exact same direction and is mounted on the right side of the front of the motor thats the only difference, from the looks of it the neon t's might work im reasearching this,

so far looks like it will work ive got a bunch of pics of my tb on my server if u guys wanna look i jsut dont have the 60$ to buy a neon one ata junk yad here at the moment

some neons come with a 49mm tb, some have a 52mm. sensors are the same its just the cable linkage wouldn't work.

The linkage on the automatic is more similar to ours - as opposed to the MT TB. Check out this link - we were discussing the possibiliby of a Neon billit TB and it gets into the linkage a little bit. it is exaclty the same housing as ours but only the automatic neons have this 52mm tb. interesting, but i need the throttle linkage from our tb. that is all i need. oh well. dont want to f.u. my factory tb. good core though...
