40254, Typical oil pressure & tranny temperature?
Posted by dougie2, Dec-25-02 10:42 AM
I'm about to install my oil pressure and trans. temperture gauges and I'm wondering what the typical readings of each are. I'm using a Melling oil pump. I also have an AT.

edit-
Also, any suggestions for a good AT cooler under $70 or so? I'll need a good one...

My oil pressure (just off the top of my head) stays between 25 and 75 depending on what weight of oil I'm using and the season. I have some higher readings now since all I could find was 20W 50 and it's winter time. Sucks.

I have a B&M tranny cooler but I think you can find some cheaper ones at Advance of AutoZone just the same. I have no tranny temp gauge now so can't help you there.
