Anybody have any experience with Federal Mogul instead of Clevite77 bearings?

I ordered Clevite mains and got FedMoguls so was just wondering how different they are.

fegeral mogul are like knock off or oem style replacment almost everyone will opt for stock before federal mogul most wil take clevite77 before stock though i did =)

federal mogul have a bimetal construction same as stock,

clevite 77 have a tri metal contruction superior in my research to a bi metal with tri metal it can form it self to the journals of the crank better to fight against a sun bearing....

They're pretty much the same bearing, even made by the same parent company AFAIK.

There is little or no difference between the two We use both when building engines here. Both are of good quality.
