needing a oil change make your check engine light come up? i was scheduled one for 11/30 or so, or after 40k or sum. ive drove about 10k over that. not good i dont think.

holy fuck! you went 10K over an oil change? you should have changed it 4 times since!
That CEL could be telling you to find a spot in a junkyard.
j/k, but really, you should try to stay on top of that, it's the most important maintenance on any car

Yeah bro change that oil every 3,000-4,000 (streaching it if you have synthetic) I know you check it often though because with our cars 10k over with no checking would prolly mean a dead car. Do the key dance or go to autozone and have your code read, it doesn't mean oil change though. Let us know what it is and please for the love of your car change that oil.

yeh im going to take her up to auto zone and c what the prob is after school tonight. im not sure if ive actually gone 10k over, but all i know is ive gone over way more than i should have :-( never really paid attention

went to auto zone. the guy said it was telling him in the bank 1 area? he said most likely its the spark plugs. haha, he also said about me getting the bosch 4 plat (which im gonna get) and how they add 15 hp! rofl. i didnt wanna laugh out loud but it was hard. then said about getting a k&n filter which was like 50! omg.

Bank 1 sensor 1 or 0 probably.. O2 sensor.
