I hooked up the Crane ignition. Works great. And I didn't need any tach adapters (I already had a CEL from insufficient egr flow). The stutter box (rev limitter) is so cool. It sounds like the car is really like race car sitting at the line. hehe.

They are definitely fun. I can build about 9psi of boost just sitting at a light. I love it when the little fuckers pull up and rev their little lawnmower exhaust at me. I just flip the switch and take it to my stage 2 limiter @ 7000rpm and then all they hear is PPPPSSSSSHHHHHHHWWWWW!
Defiantly a fun little toy

Mine is built into the Crane ignition. It has two stages.
I payed like ~600.00 for mine but I bought it right after it came out. The price is a little lower now.

stutter box is for autos only right?

heck no. It's better on a manual because you can but the stage one trigger in the the neutral switch on the clutch pedal. I haven't wired up the stage 2 or figured out how I'm going to do it. It's cool just having it right now.

The stutter box is also good for scaring ricers and V8 owners who want to race you :)

Clutch in, flip the switch, slam the gas and your rpm w/ stay at whatever point you have it set to. When the light goes green left foot the clutch and flip the switch off at the same time and off you go. It is a very helpful tool to have on the tree.
