1. During the cold weather my idle seems to be around 1200 then drops to around 900 when it's warm. Do you guys idle this as well? I have a stock motor with 65XXX.

2. Can you guys hear your motor working while you're inside the car? Whenever I have the music off and windows up while I'm at a stoplight I can really hear the engine. Is this an Eclipse thing? Whenever I'm in my friend's Grand Prix I don't hear his engine.

Yes, idle sounds normal.

that's the second thing I don't like about our cars - we have the loudest 4 cylinder engine. 1st thing I don't like is the stock wheel gap

I think that it is more that we have 0 sound deadening. yeah it bugs me, and someday I plan on doing something about it.
personally I like the sound of our engines.... but from OUTSIDE of the car not inside.
