38939, poss fuel problem... help any one? Posted by mitsumanny, Dec-05-02 05:49 PM
Okay, i'm new here.. I think I'm having fuel problems with my eclipse. Looking for help from anyone.. First off, I've got a 95 gs w/ the stage II star kit. I'm idling fine but once i start stepping on the gas, it just bogs and hesitates... the a/f gauge sinks to lean and the rpms drop and slowly move up, car sounds like crap...i've already changed the coil and plugs, fuel filter and i've almost given up and thought of making my car jump off the cliff a couple of times... aaaarrrgghh.. any suggestions any one.... please ?

Try getting a missing link instead of the Black Box. It does wonders with fuel hesatation! I think just about everyone on here will tell you the same. Also check the signal going to the fpr. Nick 97RS Custom Turbo

I know nothing about turbos, but try the plug wires.

pull your plugs, see what they look like. check your gap on it. hmm check your fp at idle and boost etc.. and all what they said. let us know. missing link is pretty good. help me go from vacuum to boost alot easier.

thanx for the replies guys.. missing link?.. uhmm i switched out my walbro for a stock turbo eclipse pump and did the rewire mod, it's running pretty nicely right... sheeshhh.. after all that.. now i think i'll hook it up with an inline pump to complement the stock turbo pump.. any one else have any problems with the walbro? So far so good... thanx for the replies again.. good lookin' out..
