i am getting my intake manifold and throttle body ported and polished by a friend who is charging me like 100 for both. How much hp gain should i expect from this i have a cai(installed) and a holley airmass exhaust( coming from him as well). and is this worth the 100 that i am paying. thanx

definately.... i paid 105 for my t/b --> 55mm, and about 120 for my intake mani p&p..

on the butt dyno, the t/b makes a lot of difference, the p&p intake mani just helps that much more... the more air your engine sees the more power it creates ;-)

good luck... hit up a dodge dealer for your new gaskets... not mitsu, they are cheeper at dodge ;-)

ARD did mine, and it is a very noticible improvement to me, but then again, i am cramming air in too...

Dynoed? No.

Drag racing? Yes. I went about 1/10th faster with the extrude honed manifold. Your guess is as good as mine as to what that means in horsepower.

I bored my tb the other day i am going to port and polish my intake mani and port and polish my head this weekend. Won't be able to tell u anything till spring but i will have more then that at once. But the better air flows in the more air your motor will get. Like above more power.

Super20G do you have the contact info for ARD and how much did they charge for the manifold P&P. I figure while my car is down I am going to do the 60mm TB and P&P the intake manifold while I am at it.

good lord^^^, well this was a mod I was really leaning to since my turbo company left the country. How much would I be looking at if I took it to a speed shop to port and polish the manifold and port match? I would probably have them take it off too, so there will be some extra labor cost. I can't afford to have my car sit for 2+weeks waiting for my intake to come by mail. what is a general price for something like this?
