Alright my CEL is usally on all the time no matter what, but today when i got off work and turn my car on it wasnt on...i started driving down the highway and it still didnt come on, i was all singing and stuff till i pulled up in my driveway and it turned on...gay...anyone know what CEL problem it could be? I dont know how to do the turn key code thing...and autozone is closed by the time im off work..help would be nice, thanks.

wel, what yr is your dsm?? u can do the key dance if 95-97, if not, go to autozone, and have em scan your codes for free.. once u do that, come back w/the codes, or hit up the main page for the list of codes, and what they mean...

Forgive me if i sound like a total idiot, but what is the key dance?

Turn your key on-off-on-off-on. Then your Check Engine Light will start blinking. By reading how many times it blinks, you can see what CEL code your throwing. Usually the first code wil be 12 and the last code will be 55. The light only blinks one digit at a time so you have to concatenate them together to get the 2-digit code 1,2,5,5 is 12 and 55. You can only do this if your car is 95-97.

ok i did it and i got 13, 36, 32, and 55. I got a 95 RS. anyone tell me what these are?? thanks.
