38596, Clutchmaster stage 4 Posted by eclipse98rsHRC, Dec-02-02 01:29 PM
After having spent some large bucks on this clutch/install,it feels wimpy and doesn't engage until the last half inch of pedal travel. Is this normal? Clutchmasters say a proportioning valve should have been bypassed-where is this "valve"? Or is there some other mod. that needs done? Not sure how much good this is doing the t.o.bearing either. This 98rs owner needs HELP. And thanks in advance!

get used to it bro, CM clutches dont like being babied, the only way their at home is to be dropped, also, give it some time, it'll harden up, took a few weeks for me on my CRX with it's stage 3, wasnt clutchmasters, but still, the idea is the same, everyone I've talked to that's put the CM 4 on their eclipse has said the same thing tho
