hey everyone.. well right now im running NT w/ greddy heads,aem cold air, and hks rear section exhaust.. it sounds pretty nice as it is.. but i want a lil deeper louder engine sound.. i was talkin w/ my cousin and he said to get a throttlebody.. will this get me a louder engine sound? if so, which one is the best.. thanks..

a tb is not worth it for more noise.. take your cat out if you want noise.. really nothing much...

Yep, you want some noise then gut the cat or throw on a test pipe. A bigger TB will give you intake noise, but nothing much noticible on the exhaust note.

Use a CherryBomb or similar glasspack, longer the better.

Yep, 31" is just a tad too long. Believe me I tried. 27" glasspack in place of the stock 12" POS will make it sound mean with a test pipe.

I have a short glasspack. Maybe 14-15" but it's like 3" or so. It sounds nice imo. I'll get a sound clip sometime. and with a magnaflow on back. Magnaflows have the best sound out of the weld-ons. HKS rear section should be better tho.

have any of you gotten annoyed at your exhaust sound yet? I mean, when i'm driving in a residential area at 3 am, it's hard to be courteous AND go fast.

I'm starting to think that the gst exhaust is too loud, makes me scared about what a real catback would sound like. :9

This may seem like a stupid question but do they make quads for our cars? I heard that they are really loud.

How about good cams? I know they will give you a good motor sound.

i'm not annoyed by my catback. i love it. it is so loud, but not raspy. its a very very deep tone that resonates. sets of car alarms in a deck with just a tap of the accelerator. also has an insert if i want it to be quiet

I'll assume you mean "QUAD" throttle bodies. AFAIK, no one makes a bolt on kit, but there was a thread recently about modding the quad tb's from a suzuki hayabusa to fit our manifold.
