i was wondering if this will work on our cars. i know it will bolt up just fine but i wasn't sure if the throttle cable linkage was the same.

It looks like the throttle cable bracket for the automatic version is very similar to ours. Actually it looks like the only difference is the angle of the throttle cable bracket. For our cars, it should be on the top in that picture. It looks to be at least 90 degrees off - closer to like 130-150 degrees off. I suppose if you could modify it to be at the correct angle it might work.

do you think if the 2 nuts were removed and the bracket was fliped around so that the hole for the throttle cable end was facing the front, it would be good enough?

Maybe - that just may work. It looks like it would be pretty damn close. Also, if it doesn't line up perfectly you could probably get away with adjusting the throttle cable until it works.

This could be a really good find. Right now there is one outfit that supposedly is making billit TB's for us, but the people involved seem to think that they're getting ripped off. Even if this Neon Auto billit jobber doesn't work exactly - we could probably talk this outfit into making a cable retainer with the proper angle for our cars.

yeah i was thinking about the 60mm blue one. they have one for an AT and one for a MT in 55 and 60mm. and they are pretty affordable, $209.99+ $6.00 for shipping.

Yeah, I don't think that's a bad price for what it is. Of course it would be a terrible price if it ends up not working. That'd be sweet to have a blue anodized 60mm though. Very nice looking. If you do end up doing it, I would stick with the automatic version - the cable holder looks more similar to ours(compared to the manual version).

damn straight we can make it work. considering they also send you new bolts and a new gasket. i'd buy it.........if i had the money. just gonna have to save up to get it.

Well if you don't have the money and you need the airflow - you could always convert a Jeeper ;)

i got a Jeep TB on right now but i would rather have a cool blue one so i can feel special

First of all I am have no idea what you mean by a Jeep TB? Can those be put in place of ours (2g 95 Eclipse RS NT)... Overall though I think if you can get that piece of art to work then do it, also whats the web adress or who is selling those I might just get one myself =P

You buy one see if it works then let me know so I don't have to go through the hassle of sending it back if the throttle angel is 120 degrees off and you can't safely change that. (Prosper from others mistakes right? J/K) =P
