38364, How to get a Stage 2 but cut the cost? Posted by BattleZEclipse98, Nov-27-02 09:03 AM
Assume I bought the Hahn S1 kit. There goes X ammount of dollars. It is 800 dollors i think to upgrade to the S2 kit. is there any other options to getting similar parts at a cheaper price that will suffice? maybe a 100-200 dollars, if not, might as well buy it from the kit manufacturer.
thanks,
matt

RRE has FMIC cores and you can pick which end tanks you need. I priced the IC core, 2 end tanks, and the $50 for them to weld it all together and it ended up being like $530. This does not include piping but I think a muffler shop could handle that.
My question is this. Is there a place you could send your muffler shop pipes to so they could use them as a model to make mandrel bent ones? What size would be good for the pipes?

go to www.turbo-performance.com. They sell Spearco FMIC's with a variety of end tanks for about $430. Then jsut have some pipes bent up and a blow off valve attached.
