38121, Replaced injector o rings today..now hesitating

Like it says above, i changed the o rings on the injectors today and now i have a hesitation from 1000rpms to exactly 4000 rpms. My plug gap is .047, new wires, new coil, no check engine light. Everything was put back in place after the install. Anyone have any idea what i could be?

Even though you think they were seated in properly, it may not be. When you tighten the fuel rail, it can actually cause it to leak fuel/pressure. My suggestion is to remove the fuel rail again and check for proper fit. They all must look the same and not be cocked the slightest bit.

If you replaced your coil pack, it might not have good connections to all wires. Check them again to make sure they are not loose. This is if you spliced an older plug for the new coil. I assume it is a MSD. If it is stock, then disregard. You may also have a bad coil pack for some reason. Try swapping the old one out to see if this helps. If the old one is shot, then try borrowing one.

You may just not have a plug wire seated properly. You could also have a bad wire. It is possible to get a bad new ignition wire. Put the stock wires back on and see if this fixes the problem. If it does, then swap one new wire at a time to see if you can isolate the problem to just one wire.

If you have not reset the ecu, then I suggest you do that as well. Basically I am saying undo everything you just did to isolate the problem. Sorry, it may not be what you want to hear.

Ok, i know that the injectors are seated properly, i checked numerous times. Everything else you've told me ive checked numerous times. Im guessing that my fuel filter needs to be changed. my car jumps and missing until four thousand rpms, then shoots off like a rocket. Im going to try this. TIA
