3787, Polishing valve cover? Posted by Deze2g, Jun-20-01 12:35 PM
OK i was going to powder coat my valve cover but i've seen a few on here, and a few at shows with polished valve covers and it looks tight. What should i use to polish it? Should i clear coat it after? Also incase i mess it up, is there a place that can polish it for me? Thanks in advance Deze

I am always for doing something yourself, but in this case I highly recommend that you take it someone. It's very hard to do unless you have the right equipment and it's also time consuming. For the cost of getting it done (approx. $100) it's worth taking it somewhere dropping it off and pick it up the next day or so.
