3776, Underdrive Pulleys

Can some one answer me this? AFX/Howell?
Will a use of an underdrive pulley in a 420a cause any harm to the engine? ie Is the stock pulley weight used as a harmonic balancer?
As well, what about for the 4G63? Does anyone know?
