I have scanned the graphs, but they are not on line yet, I'm working on that. Sorry for the delay, but my computer at home was a bit screwed up this weekend.

Well, the dyno numbers are in and they are low, REAL LOW. The dyno at the place I went to is an AWD dyno from Austrailia, not a dyno jet, and their nmbers are always very low.

Here's the peak number, I sh*t you not, 102.5 peak wheel hp at about 6300 rpms. x(

Needless to say, that is NOT right! All my turbo owner friends were saying that is impossible running 90 mph traps, even taking into account cold air, and I have run on 80 degree days and hit 89.5 mph without spinning my tires much!!

Everyone who was there was getting low umbers. A bone stock 300ZX turbo (300hp car) put 196 to the wheels. The shop does know they have low numbers, but their dyno does give repeatable numbers so they don't really care much about the whole numbers.

Their dyno seems to be very consistnet (gives repeatable numbers) but is NOT very accurate (the numbers are off from reality).

Anyway, so the whole numbers don't mean a damn thing, the curves do tell me something. The torque is basically flat until about 5300 or so rpms. After that is gradually drops off, and the drop off rate increases steadily as rpms go up (that is to be expected on stock cams).

BUT, the HP steadily increases as rpms go up (as expected) then stays essentially FLAT from about 5600 or so to 6900 rpms. It varies about 2 hp (or more like 2% to be accurate) from the max at the beginning and the end of that range. After redline it drops like a rock.

So the hp curve is flat right where it needs to be up until redline. I think the mods (versus stock) helped flatten out that upper rpm power band where stock I would imagine it drops off much sooner.

I'll get the graps on line as soon as I can.

That's wierd. But it at least you can race some guys that only think you are putting down 102hp and then you can spank the crap out of them. Also, if your car dyno's that low, imagine how much a SOHC Civic will dyno at. Those have got to be some seriously depressing numbers!

Anyway, cool on the dyno run. I can't remember but you hit your peak horse higher than I hit mine. I think I had peak horse at about 5500rpms.

Ah well at least you got the graph info. The actual hp numbers are useless anyway unless you are trying to measure the gains from installing a particular part. Did you make more than one run and do any changes with the AFC ect?

That blows.....but at least you can use that as your base now and try and tune those cam gears for some more power. It just sucks that we still don't have an accurate measurement of the hp of your car....maybe some day you can throw her on a dynojet ;)

Hmmm...don't most AWD cars run a 40/60 power split to the front and rear wheels. If so, theoretically, if you ran your car on the back rollers, you could multiply 102 by .60 and then add that number to your orginal. Comes out to about 161HP. That makes a lot more sense than 102. Makes sense to me, assuming the power split is the above mentioned number.

Actually, Todd has an RS, which is FWD. If he is putting power to the rear wheels, then that would explain a lot. Secondly, an AWD can't dyno on a regular dyno in AWD mode. They need to either run on an AWD dyno or make it run FWD for a short period of time. But, since the RS is FWD, what he got is what he got.
I will be putting the dyno graphs on the net tonight and sending Todd the link (I will let him post).
