37157, PLEASE...... HELP.........

Ok when I woke up this morning m\I notice my car would misfire and make a clicking noise in the engine bay while 'm acclerating I guess it would have something to do with the ignition . I have gotten new plugs, wires, and a msd ignition coil but I haven't put thm on yet I so had to get the valuve guides cause my stock plugs have gotten oil all over them will all this stuff help?

sounds like the plug wire came off either the coil pack or the plug and is arcing across it, that or your wires are really horrible and is arcing out the side of the wire to some other ground in your engine bay.

I knowthis is alittle of topic but what if it is the enging going bad or my pistions or something major is going out on me?

Do you have CEL? What side of the engine bay is the clicking coming from? Also, you don't need new valve guides. You just need spark plug gasket and porbably a new valve cover gasket.

Everything is fixed now. The problem was the spark plugs , and wires the plugs were covered in oil causing the car to misfire alot.
