well here is my problem, I'm getting the code for malfunctioning ISC motor, I replaced it and nothing. In the last month I've replaced the ISC motor, the egr valve, and a speed sensor, I took it to the dodge dealer wednesday and they reset the isc motor and ran diagnostics on it and it still isn't working right, the car doesn't want to idle when it is cold. They said they next thing would be to check the wiring or possibly replace the throttle body. The wiring is showing voltage up to the sensor and I don't see why the throttle body would suddenly cause the isc to not work. I've taked off the throttle body and all is clean and I didn't get anything on the new isc motor so that shouldn't have messed anything up. Could a small leak in the TB gasket that I'm unawair of cause this problem, cause I am out of any ideas of what to do and I have to take emissions soon so I gotta get the CEL off.

a vacuum leak anywhere could cause that problem

would that throw the code for the isc motor though?? and what is the best way to go about finding a vacuum leak, I've went over all the hose before and didn't see anything, Although since I've taken the throttle body off could I have not gotten as good of a seal since I used the old gasket and that effect it??

Was any part of the old t/b gasket cracked or broken? You might want to get a new gasket ($8-10?). It will probably mess with the idle if it leaks there--the IAC or TPS could be thrown off if there is any leak.

well i replaced the tb gasket and that didn't do anything other than waist about 10 minutes of my time and a $1.60. Can anyone help me I am getting desperate and I am really broke right now and can't afford to take it to mitsu.

new thought, could the new speed sensor have something to do with it? Could the pcm not be picking up on the signal from it to adjust the isc?
