36965, Raising idle rpm...
Posted by brynden29, Nov-12-02 10:58 PM
Can someone tell me if the only way to raise the idle RPM is to play with the throttle cable? I have tried that in the past but it does not seem to work. I want to raise my idle to 900 RPM's or so. It is too low at 600 and shakes the crap out of my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Install my IAC, it's bad and when the car is running (hardly ever) it idles at 1100 rpm ;-)

My idle fuel pressure is 52 psi. I don't really want to go any higher than that.
