I finally found some NGK BKR5E-11 (or wherever the E goes in that number) and was wondering if the plug gap on them out of the box was okay to put on my n/a car? also I dont have a torque wrench, should I go get one to put these in? or is there a general rule of thumb how to tighten them?

First time i change a plug, i don't know anything about gap, so i just put it in after i buy it, but it not give me any problem, the idle is smooth too.

As a rule of thumb you should always check the gap before installing, even on the pre-gapped plugs I find they are always too close. As for the torque wrench, not necessary. Just put some anti-sieze on the threads, put the plug in the socket and screw it in by hand to make sure you don't cross thread it. Then use the socket wrench to snug them up. Its fairly easy to strip the threads out on the head and the plug so not too tight.
