36364, Transmission gasket??
Posted by fasterGS, Nov-05-02 10:43 AM
I am replacing a transmission this week and was wondering what type of gasket is used between the tranny and the block?? I have the Chiltons but it does not say anything about a gasket. Any help is appreciated. (by the way, this is not for a 2gnt, but I didn't think it mattered much. Its for a 92 Plymouth Sundance) :)

There is no gasket between the block and the tranny silly...

Yeap. No gasket there. It's just a clutch housing - there's no fluid in there.. not supposed to be, anyway :-)

Thanks guys... that is what I thought but I don't have much experience with this sort of thing. Just thought I would double check :)
