Hey guys i have a 99 rs 5 speed rite now, I am lookin to get a 4g63 tho. I found a nice black talon TSI with 61K for $7900. its automatic tho....my question is how much slower are automatics than manuals? say in the 0-60 and in the quarter mile, do you get like smoked off the line? Also how much does it cost to go from the automatic to manual switch, and does it void the warranty and everything? Thanks

general concensus auto's are up to 1 second slower in the quarter
You should just keep looking around till you find the car you want, a stick should be even cheaper when you find one
