So what year are these Jeep throttle bodies that work with our 2G NT's? And what modifications do we have to make to them to make them work, like sensors, etc. Any other important info would be appreciated too. Thanks.

yeah, check that out. Its not too hard if you have all the necessary equipment. The thing is you must be careful or your car wont idle correctly.

Hey Metaljim, how did you plug the hole on the manifold? Im interested in how you did it in comparison to the way we did it.

I used a button plug. I got it at Sears Hardware, it was in one of the many hardware bins. The hole is a 1/2 inch, so I got a 1/2 inch button plug. It fit in the hole loosely, so I needed to use a really thick 1/16th inch gasket material to make the gasket - otherwise the top of the plug interfered with the gasket seal creating a vaccum leak at the gasket when it was all tightened up. To install it - I ran a line of silicone around the edge of the plug and plopped it right up into the hole on the manifold. I installed the TB with the new gasket - torqed it down good. Then I uninstalled it to make sure that no sillycone squirted out past the plug skirt onto the gasket. It was clean, so I torqed the TB w/gasket back onto the manny and let it sit overnight to cure.

I did it this way, cause if the 60mm sucked then I could just pull the plug and go back to the stock TB pretty easily....but it doesn't suck so I'll leave it there.

ah, interesting. Thats a good way to do it, we are tapping the hole and using screws to block the hole off

So I read that thread that MetalJim responded with. How "similar" is the neon swap to our DSM swap? Like am I going to have to cut all those places witht he dremel tool? I am capable of doing this, but I just want to know how difficult it really is. Like how long did it take? Thanks again.
